Burt & Max's, which opened February 2013 in the Delray Marketplace, offers westward residents a contemporary and cozy destination for lunch, brunch, happy hour or dinner. The modern, comfortable décor goes hand-in-hand with the classic and new American menu options which focus on small and sharing plates, signature entrees, as well as innovative items coming from the restaurant's brick oven.

Burt & Max's interiors incorporate many natural finishes, reclaimed and aged barn woods, industrial lighting, a tile-faced pizza oven and a 32-foot bar made of a single slab of cypress wood. Whimsical touches include an entry area paved with thousands of pennies to a wall featuring photographs of rock 'n' roll legends, from Joplin to Jagger. The layout includes indoor/outdoor seating areas, two spacious bars, a fire pit lounge, lush landscaping, and open format dining areas.
