Bogart’s Throws an Anti-Vday Bash!

Bogart’s Bar & Grille, located on the Premier level of the Cinemark Palace 20 movie theater, celebrated Valentine’s Day with a twist this year. The anti-romantic holiday event was appropriately named “Cupid is Stupid,” to include those who may or may not have a significant other to celebrate with.

Guests sipped on the specialty themed cocktail, “The Love-ito” which was a spin on the traditional mojito featuring Don Q Rum and Bols Pomegranate, while also enjoying passed appetizers and DJ beats. The highlight of the evening had to be the Anti-Vday pinata. Guests took their turns taking a wack at the heart shaped boxed until one strong-swinging woman cracked it open, spilling out the candy on to the floor.

Going hand-in-hand with the theme of the party, the movie “How to Be Single” was also released that same night. Guests had the option to go to the premier of the movie, showing directly after the event. This was the perfect recipe for a girl’s (or men’s) night out! With the success of this year’s event, we have a feeling this could be an annual party at Bogart’s!
