Burt & Max’s Helps Fight Childhood Hunger at Palm Beach Taste of the Nation

April 15, 2016   |   Events, Restaurants

Each year, Palm Beach County’s dedicated culinary professionals come together with one goal: to put an end to childhood hunger in America through the Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry event. Taste of the Nation is one of our county’s biggest culinary events, and we were humbled to be able to participate this year.

Guests were able to taste dishes from over 40 of Palm Beach County’s best restaurants, as well as sip on wines curated by the area’s best sommeliers, and imbibe on drinks made from the best mixologists. It was a night full of delicious bites, interesting and creative cocktails, and lots of live entertainment and fun, including the first ever “Shake Up” mixology competition. The best part? 100% of the proceeds from Taste of the Nation benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign.

Burt & Max’s Executive Chef Dan Moore and Rapoport’s Corporate Chef Jon Greening were honored to be included in the list of chefs at this year’s events, especially alongside the four co-chairs, Lindsay Autry, Clay Conley, Tim Lipman, and Zach Bell. Chefs Dan and Jon served one of Burt & Max’s newest dishes, the Max Burger, in slider form. It’s a brisket burger with whipped Danish blue cheese, tomato jam, and micro arugula from Pontano Farms, served on a challah bun from Old School Bakery.

We look forward to participating again next year!
